How an adjustable louvre roof works
The aluminium blades turn on a manual gearbox or a motor. Close them against hard sun or a storm, and open them again when you want the winter sun on the patio.
- A full all-round gutter takes the water off the closed blades: 95% watertight in Highveld storms
- 15-year guarantee on the louvre carriers, posts and blades, against rust, paint chipping and corrosion
- Motorised louvres run on a Somfy motor, covered by Somfy's own warranty
- Upkeep: keep the valleys between the blades clean, and don't let an adjacent roof empty its water onto the louvre

Our four standard colours are Black, Charcoal, Bronze and Traffic White. The frame and the blades don't have to match: several of our louvres pair a charcoal frame with white blades.
